Breed Information
Goldendoodle Generations
Overall, goldendoodles are classified and well-known as a designer breed. They are characterized as highly intelligent, gentle and affectionate dogs with an easy-going temperament making that part of the reason we personally love this breed so much. They have an extremely social personality and love to be with their fur parents.

-
F1 (First Generation): A direct cross between a purebred Golden Retriever and a purebred Poodle. These Goldendoodles typically have a 50/50 genetic split, often resulting in a mix of both breeds' traits.

-
F1B (First Generation Backcross): A cross between an F1 Goldendoodle and a purebred Poodle. This generation tends to have more Poodle traits, such as a curlier coat, making them more hypoallergenic.

-
F1bb (First Generation Backcross-backcross): are the result of an F1b Goldendoodle and a Poodle (or a Golden Retriever in rare cases).

We specialize in breeding designer toys and miniatures (see Sizing Chart Below) in F1b and F1bb generations due to the demand for non-shedding, smaller and more hypoallergenic dogs.

Goldendoodle Sizing Chart
Knowing the weights and sizes a puppy will be as an adult is a little bit of a guessing game! We can NOT guarantee the exact weight your puppy will be in adulthood. We can make educated guess on puppy’s weight as it depends on the size of the Dame and Sire. They are usually a range of weights between the two.
So for example if the Sire weighs 12lbs and Dam weighs 20lbs the average predicted weight of the litter will be approximately 16lbs.

Grooming/Coat Maintenance
Doodles are often recognized for their beautiful and unique coats, however, these coats do not come without consistent upkeep on owners part. Due to their poodle lineage F1bb are more likely to be curly than wavy which means that while they are very light to non-shedding they do require consistent and daily grooming at home grooming as well as a professional groomer in order to maintain a healthy coat.
For coats longer than 1-inch: professional grooming should be done every 2-4 weeks with daily brushing.
For coats shorter than 1-inch: professional grooming should be done every 6-8 weeks with 2-3 brushings at home per week.
